It all started with a dress for the Renaissance Faire. I blame the Lord of the Rings movies. But whatever it was, my senior year of high school I got it in my head that I could make a dress instead of buying one. 6 years later, I've made multiple Renaissance Faire dresses, numerous movie costumes, and even moved into sewing wearable fashions. (Although costumes will always be my first love.)

In june of 2009 I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a Professional Designation degree in Merchandise Product Development. Previously, I had graduated college with a BA in European History. For more information on me and my school and professional work, please see the portfolio section of this site.

This site was created to track my progress and display costumes that I have made. Since then it has grown to a gallery and a step by step documentation of my costumes and clothing, as well as a mini-research site for costumes that I am interested in.

All pictures belong to their respective owners and are used for research only. All pictures of Lord of the Rings characters do not belong to me in any way and can be found at Council of Elrond, War of the Ring.net or The Costumers Guide.

All pictures of the Chronicles of Narnia do not belong to me either. Most are from the Photobox which can be found here, or from NarniaWeb, which can be found here.

And I feel bad because I don't remember where I got the "A Series of Unfortunate Events" pictures that I didn't cap myself, but those aren't mine either and belong to the people who own them. Which is not me.

And if I forgot anything, put it this way, if it's not a picture of me or my costumes or clothing, it is owned by someone else. And all pictures are used for reference and study purposes only. Except for pictures of my costumes which are in fact, being used as examples of my work.
