black cloak

What is a good costume without a cloak for those cold days? So I made this for all the chilly days in July and August. Hahaha, right. Actually I just made it cause I thought it would be cool.

Fabric:
Some black fabric from JoAnns, I forgot what it was called
Black cotton gauze $1 a yard from Wal-Mart for the lining

Once again, I followed the instructions exactly, nothing too difficult, and had it done in a few days, in time to wear it to the Ren Faire.

The clasp! I almost forgot. I couldn't find one that I liked and I didn't want to spend a ton of money for a cool one so I made one myself. The circular parts are from JoAnns. I have no idea what they are or what they were meant for. They came in a package of 2, something for embellishments I guess. Anyway, I took some steel wire, I don't remember the gauge, but it was really thin, so I twisted it and folded it over on itself and twisted it again. Then I made a hook shape and hot-glued it to the back of those circle things. I then hand sewed the clasp to the fabric.
