christmas shirt

December 23, 2005

After scouring the stores trying to find something to wear Christmas Eve and having no sucess, I finally bit the bullet and decided to make myself a shirt. Fabric: Burgandy stretch velvet from Hancock Fabrics
Straps: Burgundy velvet trim from JoAnns
Pin from JoAnns

This shirt took about 2 hours to make. I used Simplicity pattern 9103 as a base and worked from there. After I had the base of the shirt together, I sewed on the velvet trim to make straps. I added the pin in front to hide where the straps attatched to the fabric.
